I hear that all mma managers were informed that if any of their clients not currently under contract with the UFC….. sign to be a part of the EA game…….the will forever be banned for fighting in the UFC.

Five Ounces of Pain was able to obtain an e-mail distributed by the UFC’s legal department that now lists Dethrone, One More Round, and Rolling Stone as a list of sponsors that will not be approved for UFC 100 on July 11. Unacceptable sponsors for UFC 100 also online Poker sponsors Full Tilt Poker, Ultimate Bet, and Party Poker.

Clothing sponsors that are approved for UFC 100 include Cage Fighter, MMA Authentic, Familia Gladitoria and MMA Elite. The source added that several clothing sponsors have indicated that they were contacted recently by the UFC and informed that in order to have the ability to sponsor a UFC fighter during a UFC-promoted event that they would have to pay a $100,000 fee to the UFC for the right to sponsor a fighter.

I am finally putting the Octagon and MMA documentry together. Got 3 HD video Cameras and editing bay. Starting from beginning. Last night I was going through the Trunk of truth and found these drawings copyrighted in 1992. The event was going to be called Kazja’s Kumite at first then I changed it to Cage of Rage for certain circumstances to be revealed in documentry.

Nevada Octagon Approval

When I was helping in the rules process for MMA in Nevada 2000/2001 I received a phone call from Marc Ratner the (Director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission).
Marc Ratner said “the sport of MMA is going to get approved in Nevada but the State doesn’t want the Octagon used for MMA. They want a boxing ring instead. Can you explain why you created the Octagon for the sport of MMA.” I put some quick letters together and sent them to the proper agencies in Nevada. I explained why the Octagon should be used for the safety of the fighter and spectator.
What is strange was that after I spent time writing and on the phone explaining why the Octagon should be used and then getting final approval, Marc Ratner called me back and said the Octagon is approved and that the State of Nevada is only going to allow the UFC to use the Octagon because they have the trademark for the Octagon. I then sent Marc Ratner the proof that I originated the Octagon and had the copyright and have first in use rights for the Octagon fighting cage. I then received a call from Zuffa/UFC on my home phone. They asked me if I was planning to sue them. I said it is possible. Then they asked if I could afford to and then said that the Fertittas owners of Zuffa/UFC are billionaires and will drain me in court.
I also had pay perview and Endeavor at that time and told Kirk Hendrik. He told me when I go for my license don’t say I had pay perview or I won’t get licensed. I believe this is because Fertitta was on the Commission and had a strong influence in Nevada and with the NSAC.
Just look at this picture. Fertitta was a Nevada State Athletic Commissioner, he is the owner of Zuffa/UFC. Marc Ratner was the Director of the NSAC, now he left the NSAC and works for Zuffa/UFC. Kirk Hendrik was the Deputy Attorney General for the NSAC and now works for Zuffa/UFC. Keith Kizer was appointed the Deputy Attorney General for the NSAC when Zuffa hired Kirk Hendrik. When Zuffa/UFC hired Marc Ratner Keith Kizer moved to his position as Director of the NSAC.
There is so much that went on behind the scenes of MMA approval.

Csac scam in 2000. MMA went through all the channels including OAL. Office of administrative law.
I got a license for MMA in 2000. In 2001 Zuffa bought the UFC from SEG then it was banned which was BS. Not one other fighting sport such as Draka/ Muay Thai/ San Shou or Toughman ever went through the CSAC BS. They all were approved in one night. This is a San Shou event in California approved in one night.

A former CEO of a Nevada sports energy drink company was indicted today by a federal grand jury in Las Vegas on tax evasion charges.

Russell Pike of Las Vegas is charged with one count of tax evasion for failing to file a federal individual income tax return for 2006 and failing to pay taxes on more than $6.9 million in income he earned in 2006, said U.S. Attorney Greg Brower of Nevada.

Pike is also charged with using nominees and a forward-dated stock sale agreement to conceal his true income from the IRS, Brower said.

Pike was arrested Tuesday in Las Vegas and is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Peggy A. Leen for an initial appearance and arraignment.

Pike founded Xyience, Inc., which made, marketed and sold sports energy drinks, most notably Xenergy, which was sold to more than 45,000 stores throughout the United States, according to the indictment.

Since Xyience started in 2004,, Pike received at least 12 million shares of Xyience stock, the indictment alleges. During 2006 Pike sold more than 4.4 million shares of his Xyience stock for about $6.9 million. This includes a sale on Nov. 2, 2006 in which Pike sold more than 3 million shares of Xyience stock to an investor for about $5 million, the indictment said.

In early 2007 Pike asked that the investor change the date of the stock purchase agreement from 2006 to 2007, so that Pike could avoid paying taxes for 2006.

In June 2006 Pike listed his income as $100,000-plus on a brokerage account application. In July 2007 Pike listed his assets as $27 million and his liabilities as $2 million on a life insurance application, the indictment alleges.

In September and November of 2006, Pike bought a condominium in Las Vegas, which was titled in the name of a nominee, made payments on a 2005 Lexus SUV that was held in the name of a nominee, and purchased a 2007 Mercedes Benz for $151,614.

If convicted, Pike faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Pike is a convicted felon who pleaded guilty to grand theft and forgery in California in 1987. He also pleaded guilty to money laundering in 1999.

Pike also had a default judgment in a civil suit filed against him by The Mirage after he wrote $300,000 in back checks over two days in 1995. He was found at fault.

The case is being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service’s criminal investigation division and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicholas D. Dickinson.

In case there are any misconceptions regarding the statement made by
“The Soul Collector” Mavrick Harvey on a youtube video,” that Todd Meacham CEO of TFA was the creator and or originator of the octagon” was not true.
TFA wants to clarify for the record that Greg Kazja Patschull is the person that originated the Octagon and wrote the rules for MMA.(The UFC created NHB,no holds barred, Kazja created MMA)
Kazja was also one of the key players that took the sport to the next level in the early days when it was in it’s inception. Much props to Kazja for helping develop the sport of MMA and bringing it into the mainstream.

More proof is surfacing on forums with the truth of kazja’s origination of the octagon. One poster contacted MCF on claims by kazja the UFC backed off from harrassing MCF. MCF said as soon as they informed Zuffa/UFC the Octagon used in the movie Maximum Cage Fighting was rented to them by kazja the Octagon originator they backed off and left them alone. Kazja claimed a while back that the producers of the movie “Maximum Cage fighting” were threatened by Zuffa to not use an octagon in their movie. Then when Zuffa was informed that it was Kazja’s octagon, and that they had permission from him, they backed off.

I sent an email to the producers of the movie asking if Kazjas claims were true. They sent a reply today and confirmed Kazjas story.

They were threatened by Zuffa, and Zuffa did back off when they found out it was Kazja’s octagon.
